my Biography
He granted his diploma in Pesaro Conservatory in 1992 with a vote of 9/10 with M° Walter di Stefano.
He subsequently perfected: in Rome with M° Antal Tichy, in Milan with M° Enrico Dindo (1996-97) and with Marianne Chen in S. Marino (1995-96 and 1997-98).
For the Orchestra he attended an annual workshop for Chamber Orchestra (1991-92) in Macerata as principal cello with Dora Bratchkova, E. Shloifer, K. Morski, F.M. Caramazza.
he has collaborated with many local Orchestras in Marche and Umbria (Orch. Sinfonica delle Marche, Orch. da camera “Liviabella” di Macerata, Accademia Strumentale Umbra, Orch. da Camera di Ancona, Orch. città di Matelica).
In July 1995 he gained the suitability for the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana (Artistic Director Gustav Kuhn) with which he played continually since November 1995.
Since February 1996 he collaborates also with the Orchestra Sinfonica “G. Verdi” di Milano (Artistic Director Riccardo Chailly).
Since December 2001 he collaborates with the Gulbenkian Orchestra in Lisbon.
For chamber music he played with many different ensembles like the “Mellolin” piano trio with which he also gained the second prize in the National Musical Contest in Locorotondo (Bari) in 1992. In Lisbon he integrated the Trio Tago artistically directed by Mº Olga Prats and the “Trio piazzolla-Lisboa” with António Carrilho and Paulo Pacheco.
In 2000-2001 he is in the Island of Madeira teaching in the local Conservatorium and integrating the Orquestra Sinfonica da Madeira.
In 2002 he finished his Bachelor degree at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa under orientation of Professor Clélia Vidal.
For the Baroque cello he attended the “cursos de música antiga de Tomar” (Portugal) in 2003 and a Masterclass in Lisboa in 2004 with Rainer Zepperling and the ancient music course of Urbino (Italy) in 2005 with Alain Gervreau. He played with many chamber groups and with the Baroque Orchestra “Divino Sospiro” of Lisboa.
Presently he teaches violoncello in the Instituto Gregoriano de Lisboa.
